Our Victorian Chapter is pleased to facilitate its final CPD event under the Paramedics Australasia banner: Understanding the Impacts of Traumatic Distress

We’re pleased to welcome Jo Mildenhall, a Churchill Fellowship recipient and the Mental Health Clinical Lead for the South Western Ambulance Service (United Kingdom). Jo will join us to share an insight into her research exploring the psycho-social, emotional and relational impacts of traumatic distress for individuals, work groups and emergency ambulance organisations.

Also joining us at this event is our own chapter committee member Dr Erin Smith, a research consultant for Victoria’s Code 9 Foundation and the Well-Being Lead for the Australian Red Cross. Erin will present on the impact on well-being on responders of the Australian bushfires.

Special Registration information

In lieu of our usual event registration fee, we encourage attendees to instead support fire relief efforts by donating to the Australian Red Cross.

While there is no cost to attend, registration is still essential so that we can manage venue capacity and for preparation of certificates of attendance for your CPD portfolio.
